This Refund Policy explains when and how application fees paid on the Bihar Recruitment Portal may be refunded. By making a payment on the Portal, you agree to the terms below.
Application/examination fees are charged to process your application and are generally non-refundable once an application has been successfully submitted, except in the specific situations described in this policy or in the relevant recruitment notification.
A refund may be considered if: (a) a duplicate payment was made for the same application; (b) the amount was debited but the application/payment was not completed due to a technical failure; or (c) a recruitment is cancelled by the department before the examination.
If money was deducted more than once for a single application, or deducted without the payment being recorded as successful, the excess/failed amount is normally reversed automatically by the payment gateway within 5–7 working days. If it is not, please raise a request with your transaction details.
Raise a refund request through the Contact Us page or the official helpline, quoting your application number, order ID and registered mobile/email. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method.
Once approved, refunds are typically credited to the original payment method within 7–14 working days, subject to the processing time of your bank or payment provider.
